DR. ANDREA BURGIO-MURPHY, LICENSED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST, EXPERT ON CRISIS RESPONSES
Dr. Andrea Burgio-Murphy is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. An expert on mental health responses in crisis situations, she has served on the board of the Georgia Psychological Association, and served as the Disaster Response Network Coordinator for psychologists. She is a Red Cross Disaster Mental Health trainer and volunteer, and provided services following September 11th, as well as natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods. Dr. Murphy previously served on the ‘Washington DC Capital Area Crisis Response Team,’ and was Adjunct Professor at George Washington University, Howard University, and Argosy University. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rochester.
